Everyone needs a mobility routine.

  • CARs are your ESSENTIAL DOSE of daily movement for JOINT HEALTH and BODY CONTROL.

  • Like brushing your teeth...FOR YOUR JOINTS

  • 5-10 min a day for YOUR physical longevity.

Want to dive deeper into CARs?

This is as much about your BRAIN as your BODY.

Move your joints every day

Controlled Articular Rotations

CARs are active rotational movements through the outer limits of your joints range of motion. They are the foundation of Functional Range Conditioning and Kinstretch. The challenge is to move through FULL range, with FULL control and to limit compensations at neighbouring joints. Each is slow, mindful and intense.

  • CARs are a multipurpose tool :

  • joint mobility

  • joint health

  • joint assessment

  • injury prevention

  • MOVEMENT IS MEDICIINE

  • Movement nourishes articular cartilage, prevents maturation of fibrotic tissue, prevents dysafferentation, maximizes cortical representation ( teaches your brain about your joint) and is your best anti-inflammatory.

  • CARs are also an assessment tool. They are your circumduction metric. They express and explore your joints WORKSPACE. How big is the circle? Can you move without compensations? Is there aberrant joint function at end range (closing angle pain)? So much useful information to direct treatment and guide training.

  • So simple. So powerful.

"This is a competition between your hip and your core. ..but more than being about STRENGTH, this is about KINESTHETIC AWARENESS.

Do you know when your hip STOPS moving and your back STARTS moving?"
